NÚCLEO AND TELEFÓNICA WILL RENEW THE VISUAL AIDS SYSTEMS OF 17 SPANISH AIRPORTS

AENA has awarded to the joint-venture formed by TELEFÓNICA INGENIERÍA DE SEGURIDAD and NÚCLEO DE COMUNICACIONES Y CONTROL (Amper Group Subsidiary) the project for the renovation of the command and presentation systems of the visual aids of 17 Spanish airports within its network; among others, the airports of Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, and Gran Canaria.

The project amount is 6.4000.000 €. The award of this project confirms the positioning of Núcleo as a reference, nationally and internationally, in the field of airport visual aids.

The technological solution presented is based on Núcleo´s SCADA SHERPA platform. AENA relies again on this development of the company since this system is currently operational at Adolfo Suarez Airport - Madrid Barajas.
